风险评估（Risk Assessment） 

是指对人类由于接触危险物质而对健康具有已知或可能的严重不良作用的科学评估。包括危害识别，危害特征描述，暴露评估和风险特征描述。 

Risk assessment is the scientific evaluation of known or potential adverse health effects resulting from human exposure to hazardous substances. The process consists of the following steps: hazard identification, hazard characterization, exposure assessment and risk characterization.
